As FarmVille 2 continues to pick up steam on Facebook, it's only natural that we've seen Zynga release limited edition content in the game's store. While a set of "Welcome" items were released a week ago, the game's first true limited edition item theme comes in the form of "Backyard Retreat," which contains a new crop, tree, animal and decorations to purchase for your farm using coins or Farm Bucks. We're here with a complete look at these Backyard Retreat items, so let's get started!

If you're a dedicated FarmVille 2 player, you've likely become incredibly familiar with the Crafting Kitchen, which allows you to turn your basic crops into complex dishes that sell for more at the Farmer's Market than those individual crops would alone. While items like Tomato Soup, Strawberry Lemonade and Apple Scones bring at least 630 coins a pop, wouldn't it be better to spend your resources on items that could earn you 5,000 coins in a single go?

That's exactly the case with FarmVille's new recipe, the Vanilla Cream Puffs, which has been launched in celebration of the Vanilla crop, which is available to plant in the game for a limited time. Over the next seven days, you'll be able to plant as many Vanilla as your farm size (and water supply) will allow, and can then use that Vanilla to create these profitable puffs.

A single Vanilla Cream Puff sells for 5,000 coins, but it's also a rather complex crafting project to complete. You'll first need to craft two Vanilla Cream and one Powdered Sugar. A single Vanilla Cream requires 12 Vanilla beans and four Milk, but this alone sells for 1,550 coins. Even if you chose not to complete the crafting and turn these Creams into Cream Puffs, you're still doing really well already.

Yet another cross-promotion has launched across Zynga's games, as Pioneer Trail players are being given the chance to earn free boosts by simply playing (and hopefully sticking with) FarmVille 2 on Facebook.

Hey everyone,
Here are some hints, tricks and tips I have learned from playing Farmville 2 and from a little research. Some things you may know, but thought I would share:

Celebrate Halloween with new trees and recipes farmville 2 cheatsheet
Halloween has made its way into FarmVille 2, and while the selection of themed content might be slim right now, that doesn't mean more won't be released in the future. As it stands, players can purchase a new, limited edition tree and can then use the fruit of that tree to create a spooky new recipe in their Crafting Kitchen.

The new tree is the Persimmon, and it's available to purchase in the market for 4500 coins. After you plant it, it will be ready to harvest eight hours, and will offer you Persimmons that sell for 165 coin each, if you don't wish to use them in crafting. You can also turn Persimmons into Animal Feed at a rate of seven Feed per one Persimmon.

If you're a crafter, you can also create fun new Scarycakes (a cupcake with a ghost decoration) by combining Ghoulist Ganache and Witchin' Batters. Of course, each of these require their own separate ingredients, and we're here with a rundown of each stage below.
